It was always tight between VT and PSU. In this world, oral commitments mean absolutely nothing. its the game....
This was a tough recruitment between VT and PSU, both recruiters were UVA alumni... and showing the battle between PSU and VT in the Commonwealth.

These recruits use VT as a holding place which allows them to negotiate a better NIL deal with another school. If they commit to an SEC or B10 school, it would be harder for other schools to offer them more NIL $ as a lot of schools won’t have the funds to compete with the big boys. Sad what has become of College Football - maybe all college sports - but it is the world we live in and we move forward.

Record does matter but so does recruits evaluation of immediate PT, NIL promises
