oline still stunk, rb2 didn't develop, QB completion percentage did not
improve. run fits got worse, dline got worse. Safety was an issue and injuries. Fumbles on the ground got recovered more often by other team (we got lucky with that ratio last year). I think that covers the excuses. I still cannot wait to see us play well against an equivalent opponent. Is that Vandy up front, SEC? Its probably Rutgers and they beat us up good last year. GT will be tough too, Clemson and Miami might be in another level.

If it was close enough to truly be a miss, that's pretty good

agry. As Eye doubt that encodes for 8 wins. Prolly 9 in '24; at least.

The correct answer
All the returning talent, some solid portal additions and about as soft a conference schedule as we could ask for. Only downside is that we could have a 1 loss regular season and lose the conference championship game and get left out of the playoff because our schedule is B10 level soft.
