Gobblers!!! It has been a minute! Over the past few years I had lost
connection with my friends here on Techsideline. Life, along with the general malaise of The University's revenue sports had guided my attention elsewhere. Imagine my surprise yesterday when The Firm's VPI&SU graduate (our Information Technology Specialist) told my Administrative Assistant to inform me that I was being mentioned on the TSL football board. In one word, Wow! I will catch you up quickly. Things have been going swimmingly at The Firm, on Exeter Rd, The Miss Appropriation, and our new place down at Debourdieu (Pawleys Island). I am replacing the twin-diesels in The Miss A with the thought of taking her down the Intercoastal this Spring to South Carolina. Mary Margaret and I have welcomed two new grandchildren into the Massie brood. There is two year old "Cab VI" and six month old Tayloe Marie. 3M cannot spoil them enough. My buds William and Strother are also doing well, although William's bride Grandison had a health scare last year. She is doing much better and is helping 3M at The Garden Club. Anyhoo...toodles for now, but I will be back on occasion for conversation on sports and other topicality.

playing in the Member/Guest Tournament at the Club in March? How is the Bent Bermuda making it through the winter? I understand that Martha Grace has been assisting at Ms. Boatwright's Cotillion -- is she still lined up for going through the pre-Holly Ball scene next year? My squash elbow has been improving. Little Mac says he'll be able to beat me by the time he returns from semester abroad and begins his internship at the Embarcadero Center.
I promise I'll get that little sum I lost to you on the VPI/UVa game last fall, just as soon as the sale of my Nvidia stock clears. I've sent Charlottesville some glad tidings of NIL to ensure that the Hoos come out on top next fall.

Woo! I vaguely remember that stuff from my Ferrum days
Ferrum was about 30% locals back in 1970. A kid in my circle of friends would go home to farm on Friday and come back with that fire in a quart jar.
I made the mistake of taking too much too quick and woke up on my bunk next midday puking stomach bileâĻbig life lesson could have been worse.
