Vt leaked to be playing UCF in the non conference mid December.
with ole miss, WVU, Iowa, and now UCF + the Charleston classic which consists of 2 games against any 2 of the following:
Dayton (Atlantic 10)
Minnesota (Big Ten)
Northwestern (Big Ten)
Oklahoma State (Big 12)
Utah (Big 12)
Virginia Tech (ACC)
2 TBD
Got one of the toughest non cons in a long time for the Hokies.
Hokies will also play the top half of the ACC at home. Going to be great games night in and night out.

That would be a real nail biter of a matchup, I think.

neutral.

Well, I think the UCF contract
is one game down there (it's at Nova Southeastern's campus) this year, then one return game at a neutral site in the D.C. area next year.

Says Nova Southeastern for '26, then the second game is "TBD date 2027, in the DMV region".

every season during or near the holidays is a mystery to me. I realize it is easier (and maybe more economic- although that may be false) to stay in Blacksburg and play another lay up. But the need to keep the DMV alumni base engaged outweighs any down side. So many possibilities for opponents- maybe even do a doubleheader with the WBB.
