Everyone is focusing on Neo, but I think lawal’s shooting struggles are
not being talked about enough.
We went from drawing up designed pick and pop sets for Lawal last season, to now all flinching every time he shoots this season.
Maybe last season was just a crazy outlier, but I still think he can hit it at abt a 30% clip. Which would be greatly needed.
His injury definitely set him pretty far back, but we need Lawal and certainly need Neo hitting threes at some point between now and ss.
Been a very weird season from beyond the arc.

Lawal and Neo are shooting about the same % from deep in conference play. The primary issue is that recently they’re averaging 9 3PA per game and only making 1 of them.
Every coach is fine with Neo taking his looks, they’re usually open and in the flow of the offense, if he doesn’t shoot the defense can sag off him.
Lawal taking early shot clock 3s is exactly what every opposing team wants. An extremely low percentage shot from deep taken by your best offensive rebounder that you don’t need to close out on. That’s a shot you can get any time, it should only be taken in desperation. You might as well mark that decision the same as a turnover in film review.
Half the team is slumping at the same time, make a few more 3s per game and we’re probably sitting pretty as an 8 seed

Jiffy Pop- Cavernous, spatial distortion when looking at the basket
Chestnut Hill: Dead. The place sucks energy.
