We had some games that we won easily in Nov and Dec where he could have gotten some good minutes.
But I'm glad to see that he is sticking around. He could easily drop down to a mid major and get a bunch of minutes and do well potentially. But I get the sense he really likes VT and the staff. And with Kidd gone, he will now get plenty of opportunity.

but think of where Pat can be be by next year, and two years to follow. Everyone gets better under young, especially big guys. Aluma and Kidd did. I’m not say he will play like them, but he will get much better.

worse we have a 7 footer to hang around in practice clogging the lanes. If he can even average 4-5 pts/game I'm good with it. Unlike a certain player, he didn't quit mid-season so he is already higher in my book

Not just a top player down, but no opportunity to replace him with another player.
Don't imagine he'll follow his HS coach yet again, but who knows?

Yes, play a few games over 2 years and leave when you are still injured days before season starts. I was wondering if it was another guy during the season.
Let's go get some top notch talent and depth and win some games
