I must have missed it but there's talk on 247 about Pedulla transferring?

"guy" with Hunter gone next year and his girlfriend lives in NOVA (so him being away from family has a counterbalance). Vocal "fan" impatience is toxic for young players trying to learn on the fly and develop confidence (i.e., MJ and Sean). They both deserve a lot better than they get from parts of the Hokie "fanbase" and I hope that will ease up as we head into NIT play and a critical off season.

I expect there are a lot of teams that would love to have him. Hopefully we’re ready to up his pay.

He has been asked to play to many min. He makes a ton of turnovers and is a run and gun PG in a system that requires a slower controlled no turnovers PG. His family is in the middle of the country
I'm sure some B12 school would pay him to transfer. Would he get as much playing time.. probably not. Will he score 15 + a game.. yes. Will VT miss his production yes, his turnovers no.

Too much playing time?
Don't know if that would be the reason.

every player that transferred from that roster might be playing less mins then the did their last year at VT.
I'm not sure about Maddox but he started his last year and OKo( the back up center) might be playing more min.

Absolutely no D1 athlete is going to complain about playing too much
If they do? Not sure I want them on my team.

Rice leaving hurt. SP gives it his all and I would love him back.. if he leaves you can bet he got tired of all the criticism. Reichtsteiner was a major disappointment to the extent he played very limited in ACC play. Sean will get good amount of NIL money and I don’t blame him
