Not disagreeing with you at all
But I think sometimes fans miss the little things that make huge differences in games, such as great defense, making the right play on offense, etc. For players who play a lot of minutes, I like to look at the +/- stat to see what the importance of having particular players on the floor is. There were some posts that were critical of Cattoor and Beran’s play today, but here is the +/- for our top 6 players today: Cattoor +13 Beran +11 Collins +3 Pedulla +3 Poteat + 2 Nickel +1 We won by 6, so the only players who actually hurt us by being on the bench, were Cattoor and Beran. They are our best defenders and without them, we lose the game.

Yeah Cattoor and Beran played fine; just missed shots

These are numbers I need to see. I warch games when I can and check scores
And all season I just think we've been inconsistent. I thought beran and Nichel would provide a certain offense, kidd get his, cattoor and padula theirs. Obviously the team you are playing plays a role in expectations but we just seemed very inconsistent. Seeing the article on sos adds to that discussion.

At Game,SP seemed to have another gear. Fearlessly under control
MJ seems to have gained a lot of confidence. That shot-fake, the drive for the dunk at the end of the half was a crowd pleaser.

I certainly prefer the shot fake and drive
to the jump shot!

Pedulla was definitely feeling his old self.
Rechsteiner did well and even big Pat made a couple plays
