It sure would be nice to still have Maddox and Buchanon.
Last I checked, Buchanon was averaging 13ppg, 5rbg, while shooting over 60%.
Last game, he had six assists.

.... is probably a bigger achievement for VT as a program than either NIT title. And VT *crushed* UNC and Duke! How often does that happen? VT doesn't get there without the Maddox shot.
The Bobby Stevens shot is a close second.
If Hill had put down that shot that could have beat Duke for an Elite 8 spot, that would then take the prize.

Maddox was bigger in the fact that it led to a championship run and Henson simply won a game. I’m with Kev though Bobby Stevens was the biggest shot because it won a pretty big championship in that day
