I am completely amazed by Young. How does someone go from a marginal
role player to a stud overnight? He has had enough recent good games that this seems to be his new norm.

Are you saying that players in our basketball program improve and develop
more so than in our football program? I am!

One thing he has done is he began getting to the basket and quit settling
for 3 pointers every time. I think he has also slowed down and relaxed a bit. He was playing very hurried and not in a good way.

Bingo. He looks like he knows he's going to make it.
And it looks like the game has slowed down for him. Much more so than Rechsteiner or Hammond (although it's starting to slow down a bit for him too). ** Edited by marcbvtgm at 3/3/2025, 11:32:21 AM

He started slow. I think in the first half he had 3 shot attempts for
a bit? Could be wrong, but thought I saw the stats where he was o-for-3... I think what also happened is that we saw him stay in. Yes, he has to hit shots....but there is a bit of player rotation where 9-10 players are playing.... Young stuck with him (and others). He delivered.

I expect him to Portal, sadly, for more PT and slightly more NIL.

I thought so in the beginning of the year but I’m not so sure now.
Very unlikely to be able to go to a better team and contribute like he could at Tech.

Nope…Coach will have a lot more NIL funds next year
So a good shot at keeping him. We will see.

He played 40 minutes yesterday; hard to play much more than that

Because Brown & Lawal were out. Young would start likes of UNC-G, ETC.
