He is noticeably limping. It was apparent when running layup lines before each half and I could even see it when he bounded off the bench for a timeout. I don't know what lower extremity is bothering him, but he does have a noticeable "hitch in his giddyup." I'm assuming that is contributing to a lack of mobility and thus a lack of playing time.

He seems to be engaged and celebrates other players. Hard to envision that if he was disgruntled and already thinking about leaving. ??

and he hasn't even used the regular redshirt.

Most don't apply for the medical redshirt until their 5th (or 6th) year of eligibility, so.in sports like football they can go ahead and call the medical redshirt year a regular redshirt until they wanna apply for the 6th year For basketball, it's different, but I don't think they'll apply for the extra year until it's time to appeal for the extra year As it stands, he will have 3 years to play 3 years...but I am betting he would have a solid case for a 5th year should he choose to use it (and should he not play a single minute for the rest of the year)
