Tiger had a lot more work done on his spine than the golfing establishment

was told. During his greatness he tightly controlled all info about his health and any injuries. He played hurt while winning major titles and didn't want to give his competitors any inkling of what he was dealing with (part of a carefully crafted persona)...the warrior golf champion similar to Ben Hogan and his comeback from the near fatal bus crash. Recently the new and improved (friend of the game) Tiger talks about his 5 spine surgeries, the several knee surgeries (on his post up leg) and of course his near fatal van flip down the canyon in LA that has resulted in a fused ankle. My bro had L-5, S-1 fused in his seventies and the Duke neuro who did it knows the Dallas doc who did the final major work on Tiger. He said that the previous work was not working properly so he got Tiger to risk a frontal approach sliding the organ sac to one side taking everything apart and inserting new instrumentation from the front which is the ideal perspective for a surgeon to work on the spine. I have immense respect for anyone who can overcome that level of disability and make the cut in world class golf. Regarding your arachnoiditis symptoms, may God bless and I'll pray that is not your situation and if it is then may you get relief from medical treatments. You certainly have a full wagon to pull while ageing.
