I just don't think it's any more a challenge as anyone else...

If you have a football program you usually have less sports overall to balance that loss in revenue. You're just playing around with percentages relative to the athletic department as a whole. The problem is the 20.5 million ceiling, not the percentages given. If Maryland could give revenue sharing of their entire revenue to football and basketball, there's nothing Villanova could do to beat it. But because it is capped, then both football and basketball are capped at what only basketball is capped at for non-football schools. They're essentially making all dollars they can come up with in-play for their athletes, whereas football schools are capped no matter what they generate
