Probably more so reflective of him thinking the resources at PSU would be better long term. On hoops, always interesting when school feel they've outgrown their successful coaches. Al Skinner in this case. Paul Pasqualoni at Syracuse. Etc. Neither have done anything since canning those guys (I acknowledge it's a different world today).

But I suspect a lot of the ACC schools fans don’t care much for BC anyway.

I also wish they were attached to Miami's hip. It's Miami who wanted BC in the first place. Indeed, Miami used BC as a stalking horse for them back when the ACC was first thinking of raiding the Big East.
