I outlined here a few weeks ago but for uva, there was 3 schools that mirror what the program is - Vandy, UNC and Duke. Not getting Corbin/Forbes, so Pollard it is. He’s bringing his whole staff and some players already. Ironically, Duke has a winning record against uva of late and has also out recruited uva the past three seasons - Pollard rose to the top at Dukes level, with their facilities and commitment, which just got 10x overnight for Pollard. Think the biggest thing is the program feels like it has juice again. O’Connor, despite the winning, started to get stale. Program was kinda in the worst best place possible - consistently good enough to get to Omaha, but not really good enough to compete in Omaha. Everyone knew it - think Pollard has that juice to get there and take the program back to national championship contention.

Someone in the know that Glavine from Northeastern was high on the list. Was he second by chance?
