wanted to. In this day of NIL we could just buy a championship. Pick any team sport that actually is not played as a team but as individual contests like tennis or golf. Offer ridiculous NIL amounts to lure the top players from other schools. In tennis, golf etc. you don’t have to change anything but the logo on your shirt. Your game doesn’t change at all. With the best nucleus of talent just go out and do your thing and bring back the trophy. I’m convinced we will see some schools come out of nowhere (no history of success in the sport) to win it all due to crazy NIL payments.
