Franklin has been on ESPN, and Hokiesports has provided a lot of material

All the while trying to rebuild a program that was nearly burnt to the ground. Look at the recruiting and transfer class he had to work to bring in. Additonally

As been noted time and time again, VT has some of the lowest athletic fees across the entire country, and they will still be low with this increase. Also, the success of VT Football will only increase the University's profile and standing (e.g. a successful football program will lead to more, and likely higher quality, applicants). It's a very small increase for students with the potential for a big return.
