Don’t look now.. But Bart Torvik has the Hokies projected at #30

Also here are the projected top contributors Real excited for next season! ** Edited by TheHokieMan483 at 5/21/2026, 5:45:59 PM

What’s the general thought on who will start, Elohim or Copeland?

I think Elohim will start and play more because he is just so much more explosive and versatile

RJ Luis just committed to LSU with eligibility TBD

Played for ST John’s in the 24-25 season and won big east player of the year entered the draft, went undrafted signed a 2 way contract with the Jazz and was traded to the celtics for George’s Niang and 2 second round picks. The Celtics then waived him and he signed a contract with the Celtics G league team then got waived before playing a game Sounds like the Bediako situation to me, just a lot more of a career in the nba signing a 2 way deal. I feel like this shows everyone that Will Wade is desperately trying to find good people to play for his team and has been striking out on them and is trying to bend the rules to get his players Also with that 5 million dollar role player they are rumored to be bringing in from Israel. Who was also an NBA draft pick (and is the same situation as James Nnaji), averaging 4 pts 1rb and 1ast per game shows they have had the money, they just can’t reel anyone in. Side note, not a single person from the NC State team followed Wade to LSU

My rankings would be

Talent 1) Avdalas 2) Hammond 3) Tobi 4) Hansberry 5) Johnson 6) Elohim 7) Bedford 8) Heide 9)Gurdak 10)Curry 11) Atak 12) Schutt 13) Sagina 14) Pasha 15) Dorn 16) Jones 17) Hull 18) Davis 19) Freeman Then the fit for MY’s system 1) Hansberry 2) Hammond 3) Johnson 4) Schutt 5) Atak 6) Heide 7) Lawal- you have him low but I thought he worked pretty well 8) Gurdak 9) Hull 10) Curry 11) Avdalas 12) Bedford 13) Jones 14) Elohim 15) Sagina 16) Dorn 17) Davis 18) Pasha 19) Freeman I feel that on fits for MY it varies very year because this year they have brought in some guys who play at very high tempos Fun activity

I’d like to hear opinions on how the lineup will be working next year

Starting Lineup PG Hammond SG Elohim SF Johnson PF Hansberry C Sagina Heide has more experience as a starter and against college athletes, but I feel sagina will work better with Hansberry but could go either way Bench Heide Curry Atak Jones These 4 should be in the rotation heavily and if Davis can contribute to defense then he should join the rotation as well Davis Hull These 2 are wild cards, Hull could help, or find himself on the bench

Tech lunch pain reported via a source that a guard who stared in the

ACC last season is having a zoom call tomorrow , it’s a pay article, does anyone have any intel on who this is? ** Edited by TheHokieMan483 at 4/14/2026, 5:54:18 PM

All the info Is here

Freshman 6’9 192 very small big guy 12mpg 41% 3pt rating 7ppg 1rpg 0.5apg More than half of his shots are 3’s Best game against a good team was 18 against Georgia 6/7 from the floor 6/7 from 3 He is a pure 3pt shooter

Copy pasted info, sounds like he would enable Hansberry to play the true 4

Which I think is very important for this teams success New Mexico transfer Tomislav Buljan has been in contact with the following schools, he tells me. Michigan State Texas Tech Auburn Cincinnati Creighton Syracuse Maryland Marquette Virginia Tech Saint Louis The 6-9 freshman from Split, Croatia averaged 13.1 PPG, 10.3 RPG and 1.1 SPG

Could this mean Solomon Davis is staying?

I’m probably wrong, but if he was going to enter the portal wouldn't he have already done it along with Freeman?

Samet Yigitoglu is in the portal

Would he be the type of center who would be in a reasonable price range? Or is he too much

Is there any word on Freeman and Davis?

I would imagine CMY brought those guys on as practice bodies and if they showed anything he would keep them around

Sounds like Hammond Hansberry and Johnson is where the money went

Which is a good thing because I feel that everyone else that had hit the portal is replaceable I would go get 2 true bigs, one that can start and one that can bring quality mins off bench since it seems Dorn may be gone. This will allow Hansberry to play is true position at the 4 Then I would go and get a guard who can fill up the scoreboard maybe someone who averaged 18 at somewhere like Valparaiso Then just fill it out from there and hope for the best. System players are a must no people like pasha who couldent fit in the system and try to take it to the rack himself

Pasha has hit the portal.

Top 110 transfer in last years portal amounted to nothing this season unfortunately. No surprise here, guess we will se more in the following days

I have tickets for the first and second round of the NCAA tournament in

Greenville and one thing I have noticed is that the difference between Bon Secours Wellness Arena and Cassel Coliseum is breathtaking. Bon Secours arena is so nice! The upper deck is great the concourse is amazing and when comparing the two, it really makes you feel like our guys play in a dump. Cassel needs some upgrades sometime soon, awhile back there was that plan for an upgrade but that ultimately fell through due to COVID is there an upgrade in the near future?

Question for insiders

Of this list of players Hammond Hansberry Johnson Gurdak Schutt Jones Dorn Avdalas????? How many of these people would you expect to portal I assume pasha is gone but also, are freeman and Davis gone? Have they showed anything in practice? And if we retain X amount of players, what’s the game plan for our portal acquisitions. TIA ** Edited by TheHokieMan483 at 3/14/2026, 10:32:46 PM

No chance.

We signed Neo sometime in may once everyone else had already signed. There is no way we had that type of cash laying around for him at that time and if we somehow did I would be really excited for the future with all that money

Look, it’s not all Neo’s fault

He was just overhyped. I’ve had moments where I have posted that he’s terrible and even said that after the wake loss tonight. But he’s just a freshman in college. If he came back and played college ball for 1 more year, he would average 17 and be such a difference maker. Sad end to a sad season however, oh wait! The NIT is still on the table.

Demarco Minor was a name the Hokies were on heavily during the portal

Even though he did not commit to VT, he ended up helping us after all. THANK YOU DEMARCO!!!!

Why are there no commits yet?

Last year we added Neo and Dorn late from overseas, but we have 0 freshman committed so what gives? Are we purely going to recruit European players and transfers, or can we expect some HS players soon?

Well…. That’s not ideal.

Say we win against wake, would he be ready for Clemson tomorrow?

Everyone talks about how Carolina had beaten Duke this year

But they lead for 0.4 seconds on Seth Trimble’s buzzer beater and yesterday they were embarrassed by Duke

He sure did

He talked about Johnson’s missed dunk to tie the game at 51-51, he talked about how Hammond, a near 90% free throw shooter missed 2 in a row, and how UVA’s big man #33 made a made a 3 pointer to put them up about 7 or something like that and he’s only made just a few threes the whole year which prompted this reaction
