What’s the general thought on who will start, Elohim or Copeland?
I think Elohim will start and play more because he is just so much more explosive and versatile

You have to think a former top 50 player at 6'5" 215 has to get more PT
If Copeland can show more than a spot up shooter, then I could see him getting 15mpg here or there but not starting min especially given his size to go along with our other sub 200lb PG.

Copeland is short and slow. He is a 3 point specialist
His defense in ACC play may not be pretty. ** Edited by VT ChemE 1986 at 5/21/2026, 1:04:08 PM

Methinks Copeland gets 15-20 mpg.

Doubt he gets that many minutes against Md. Eastern Shore, much less
any better programs. Highlight videos are no way to predict how a player from a program like Stetson relates to better programs with better players. Could he shock? possibly. Will he? Doubt it.

I would be surprised if he gets more than 15

I would think on an average game he will get about 20

Against Md Eastern shore, maybe. 5-8 tops most games.

I doubt he would come here for just 5 mpg
After being a starter and one of the teams top scorer. Jaden Schutt got 24 mpg off the bench. I suspect he will take Schutt's role.

I agree with you.
Also, I think Elohim will pair very well with Hammond. Both are explosive. Elohim provides the size that Hammond lacks. Elohim's ability to penetrate should also free up Hammond for the occasional 3.
