Awful is on the fair side

With one or two exceptions, this head coach has not built competent pitching staffs. Have to recruit 4-6 good freshman arms every year and develop them. Look for pitchers, not throwers. Taking 8-10 pitchers in the portal every year is a recipe for disaster, imho. Should be 2-3 portal additions to augment losses.

A couple gave her the money. Both are former TT athletes. One million last year, and 1.5 million this year. Also an extra 250k each year for expenses.

Such a great representative for VT

Met her at one of the camps. Very articulate and personable young lady. When she found out later that I had played baseball at VT, she came over at dinner and asked me several questions. Just an impressive young lady in every way, and deserving of all the honors!

In the podcast, they mentioned that Neo just walked when the season ended. So he just stops going to class, and leaves town. Has all online classes??? Just wondering how that works with academic issues????? Then he transfers to that revered institution of higher learning, UNC. So athletes just do whatever now in regards to class and making moves toward a degree???

A married couple, both alumni and former athletes at TT, wrote those checks for the softball pitcher. 1.25 million last year, and 1.75 million this year. Saw an interview with them a few months ago…..

Whatever our recruiting philosophy is, it’s flawed. We’ll never get rich using the portal for 8-10 pitchers every year. Just go to NOVA and Baltimore and get some guys that bound the zone.
