He lost the team, and the effort was not there. Why start all those questions from the media and donors? We’re hitting a grand reset, but we have the former head coach on staff????? Biggest problem for Pry was hiring bad coordinators. This would be a step back, and the BOV and Whit should step in…

We don’t need that drama. New blood all the way around would be my preference. We have the money to attract top notch coordinators.

How do refs call taunting?
there is talking and taunting after almost every play. How does the ref determine what get a flag?

Are WRs Wiggins and Adams really hurt?
Or are they just waiting to enter the portal at the end of the season? Seems odd that they were both mentioned heavily in the preseason, but neither has had any role.

Interesting info about adding all those additional scholarships
With all the hoopla around the increased financial commitment from the university, has anyone heard anything about VT adding scholarships in softball or baseball? It’s obvious from some the signings that some ACC schools have already increased theirs!

Only thing stopping Pavia is the penalties
We haven’t done one thing defensively to slow them down. Pass rush is non-existent, and the QB is so much quicker than our LBs.

Heard or read rumors of VT providing 30 full baseball scholarships and 20 full softball scholarships……any insiders have better info?
I personally don’t think this is happening….

Sorry, I may have confused some
I’m fully aware that baseball probably needs more because of the pitching situation. I’m just inquiring about the number of full scholarships being increased to those numbers. That would be a huge increase for both sports, if true. I think Clemson and UNC have said they will fully fund softball, which would be 24 full scholarships.

I’ve read some recent posts implying VT is going to offer 20 full scholarships for softball, and 30 for baseball. I find that hard to believe, but what are informed thoughts?

My 2 cents worth.....
Definitely time for WB to take a hard look at the baseball coaching staff. I like Elbin, and I think he's a future head coach somewhere. But our pitching has left a lot to be desired for the entire tenure of this head coach. No depth, too many walks, too many transfers, no development, etc. I think it's past time to look for a new pitching coach, and it's might be time to look for a new head coach. We need to recruit the state better, mix in the DC-Baltimore area, and Charlotte. No reason VT can't make the NCAA baseball tournament on a regular basis........

Why not?
Brown never seemed to fit in at any position. Young is wildly inconsistent, but did show some flashes against weaker teams when Schmitt was ill. I can definitely see a scenario where CMY would think he can get better…
