I saw an e-mail today from 6:00am that my account ordered 7 Meta rayban glasses for over 2000 dollars. Used all my gift cards too. Jerks. When I immediately tried to log in and see what the order was about, there was NO account under my name or any link to an account via my email, username, or phone number. When I called amazon, they couldn't find it either with all my info. Nearly the same type of account deletion that happened with FB. And I had no notices that any of my account information had been changed, or that a new device was logged in, or anything else. ...which I usually get. I contested the pending charges with the bank, changed all passwords and everything associated with that account. Froze and cancelled cards, too. This is getting maddening. Amazon was the second site I used on a daily. Have any of you had your Amazon account hacked like that?

Just reeks of scam from the get-go. I can understand why people might fall for it though.... so many connections are instantly lost when locked out.

That I really don’t need. Just creating a new account doesn’t recover anything, nor does it allow me to access the business accounts and groups I’ve made. People I was chatting with will think I just ghosted their marketplace sales. This really sucks. It’s just weird how I got no notices except the suspension, and then on the same day, a note saying the decision is final and cannot be reversed. I never even got any emails about suspicious activity. I have no idea how this happened. Sucks. All I wanted to do was visit the Blacksburg page for an update about the boil water notice. I’ll do my best to see what I can do and reply here if I ever resolve this.

I have been on FB for over a decade. Run two business accounts and our neighborhood info page. I use FB for so many daily activities. I have active marketplace listings. Last night i got an email at 4:00am saying my account was suspended for not following community guidelines and I had 180 days to appeal. When I click appeal, it says they reviewed my account already and I cannot recover it at all. I stay away from all politics and post occasional on local subjects. And when I do, I do all I can to post thoughtfully and without any offensive language or anything. So now, I can’t do anything. Can’t even get in to transfer ownership of my neighborhood page. Has this happened to you? Is there ANYTHING I can do?

This has always been my hope with AI... to be able to ask these questions and have it pour over all the recorded data and give me some statistics.

especially the linemen, are dialed into their specific assignments. Getting the play changed effects the tempo and intensity as the players are typically forced to change their assignments. I only like this for veteran teams who have been playing together for many many downs. Then, there is a chemistry and maturity that allows them to change assignments naturally and not have to overthink, thus changing their intensity. And as a past lineman waaaay back in HS, I can attest that waiting in the down position just SUCKS, waiting for the play to be called in or changed. Got into Urbana, OH by noon... visited some shops, then visited their Aviation Museum at the airport, which was amazing. Filled with WWII era airplanes and artifacts. They are fully restoring a B-17 there, and you can walk through their workshop and get right next to everything. Highly recommended if you are in the area. After all of that, we drove another 20 minutes north to a random field near a church I could on Goggle earth the day before.... so, just our family, on a grassy knoll with full view of the horizon for 360 degrees. I picked that spot because a pond was nearby and trees not far.... that way we could experience everything that happens without traffic, people, airplanes.... It was amazing. When totality happened, birds got quiet, frogs and crickets came out. The winds died and the air chilled quickly. The light all around us was indescribable. The sight of the sun's corona, and the solar flares of sparkling pink were overwhelming. Seriously a surprisingly emotional event. My wife has no idea what to expect, but she was overcome. We got to experience it for just under 4 minutes. Something our family will never forget. After that, we packed up and drove back. Got home by 10pm. 730 miles round-trip. Totally worth it.

So now, Tech need to get another good coach with experience, paying a higher amount(than we were currently paying Brooks) for an untested candidate.... meanwhile, Tech looses out on like three years of exposure and money coming into the program because of rebuilding... that is assuming the next hire even works out. so, just in terms of money, the increased salary would likely pale in comparison to the loss of exposure, TV revenue, ticket sales, marketing for VT itself.... So, it might take even MORE money for VT now during the rebuilding phase, than if we just ponied up more... However, this is only based on compensation, but it is a good thought experiment.
