Watch Schutt’s replays of 3 point shots when he was on. He’d get set, use
his legs to raise up with the shot and have a great arch as the ball would head to the goal. The last few weeks, He is not getting set, not using his legs and his shots are almost line drives.

Agree…it was obvious they had no clue what they needed to do and calm down.
No clue why Young didn’t call time out and go over running out the clock by working the ball around, setting up inside plays before the shot clock ended, etc…

Was away for awhile. How was Lynch not called for
obstruction at 3rd base? Was it because the runner would not have scored?

We’ll maybe the athletic department has a contract with whatever company
that provides our ticket sales that they are the only entity that will handle ticket sales of any our our athletic events and it wouldn’t make economic sense to do so….since Chip discussed this with them, I would assume they gave him an answer as to why they won’t do ticket sales…

You’re a new poster, that’s all that is known…rather than rip into Rev
about his analysis of what Coach Duffy’s defensive philosophy has been in her career which has been fairly successful, why not read posts from some of the long time posters on the basketball boards along with Chris Coleman and Will Stewart…you could learn more about who does know what they are talking about in posts.

Since this is part of what the Rev does for a living and he knows most
of the NCAA coaches. I would believe he knows a bit more about basketball than your “facts”.
Everyone on the basketball boards enjoy his analysis of recruits and basketball.

It’s difficult to find an athletic 6’ 5” WBB player freshman or transfer.
Same as an athletic 7’0” MBB. How many does VT have? Answer is none.

Lol…if a player puts their name in the portal and wants to transfer, it’s
not “poaching” if they contact us with interest to transfer. Every student has a right to transfer, send in a request and the university can accept or reject.

Did Pete tell Grein that she should walk hitters when we’re up and no one
is on base? I would think that any pitcher from JV through major college would know that you shouldn’t put players on base. Evidently based total pitches to strikes ratio she had some control issues..

what we run especially if we retain our current retuning roster and incoming recruits.

I usually agree with your analysis, but Nickel really struggles defensively
He really shoots well, but imo he doesn’t seem to move into an offensive position to get his shot at times. i.e. - he’s not that quick for a 3…

Lol….he’s had some tough games with a lot of TO’s because he’s played 30 or
35 minutes. We don’t have another PG. Collins is not a good ball handler, He can fill in for a few minutes at PG, but that’s it and Cattoor can bring the ball up court on occasions, but that’s it.
You’ve made some questionable posts at times, but this one is at least top 10.

GCHokie34 - any reason why Coach Young let Kidd sit
on the bench for the start of the 2nd half and then the first 6 minutes as Duke started their double digit lead. Kidd was playing well in the 1st half and was allowing us to get penetration into the foul lane area. At least he was a threat offensively.

One of my friends father sent out several individual photos of his daughter along with photos of her and the other recruits in full VT uniforms, plus a photo of them with some of our current players. The photos appear to have been taken by VT…

They were 10 seed in last season’s NCAA tournament. They also made
tournament in 2022…that’s past seasons results…..they’re a good team that would be competitive with bottom half of ACC…
