Seems the framing actually tells the ump that the catcher knows it was

not a strike. So it really should backfire against the catcher. But if the ump calls the pitch a strike because the catcher jerked the mit into the strike zone then the ump is incompetent.

Before the first pitch I predicted she would walk 2 in the first inning.She
