I think we all understand why Bree started last night. Mazz is just in a funk right now and can't get out of it, and I don't think she will until she improves her control. She has unlimited natural ability, but needs that control. Who knows, she may be hurt. She is a veteran though and she will overcome this. Believe! Go Hokies, Go Mazz. She may 'overcome' it but there's little sign that the coaching staff has found anything to actually get her throwing more strikes. The evidence is her 'waste' pitches. When she does get ahead she often still ends up with a high pitch count as she does not seem to be able to throw one ball off the plate. Her misses are usually big misses.
