Giving credit
Trent Hidley is a fantastic play by play announcer. Super knowledgeable, no sense of bias or homerism, talks just enough, and you can tell he just respects good wrestling regardless of the singlet. Didn’t love him on the mat as a VT fan, but the guy is very very good in what he’s doing now and the ACC or even the NCAA should give him more work.

What I really liked the most is during a maneuver, he would would comment on what the next move should be from the wrestler, both defensively and offensively. That kind of commentary is critical in helping the average or less fan understand the sport. I hope he stays with it.
