Here you have a wrestler who dominated the entire second period. Rode feldman the entire 2:00 with several great mat returns. then Catka gets out from bottom immediately. He even looks to take a shot in the third period rather than just running around the mat. Feldman gets 1 takedown with 9 seconds left and gets the win. I don't fault Feldman. He definitely earned the takedown and won the match based on current scoring rules. But the NCAA has deemphasized mat wrestling drastically with the 3-point takedown. They've has made it clear that neutral wrestling is far more important that going at it on the mat. Catka worked his ass off for his two points. Feldman was able to eliminate all that with just a few seconds on his feet. I HATE the 3-point TD!
