I'm going to respectfully disagree with this comment. I don't think there

is a difference at all in strength. Sam's current roadblock with Orine, imho, is that he needs to work to finish his shots against KO immediately. KO is as flexible as the come and one of the best defensive wrestlers out there. Sam is notorious for the single leg and looks to secure the leg before finishing the shot using his leverage. Against most opponents, this works fine for SL as his size over most 33 pounders allowed him great leverage to put his opponent off balance and bring him to the mat for the takedown. but Orine has great flexibility and balance so "pausing" after the shot allows him to set up defensively. Sam can get to Kai's legs, but he has to be aggressive in finishing to keep Kai off balance. And Sam needs to stay disciplined for the entire 7 minutes. I think he gets ahead of himself mentally sometimes over extends himself ... eventually costing points.

Well since you asked ...
TheStateGuy 10/21/24 02:23 PM ET
Thanks. Looks like another nailbiter for the NCAA's most existing dual...

How old is Camacho? He seems to have been at NCSU forever.**
UpperQuad 10/21/24 05:03 PM ET
Any thoughts on how the dual goes?
Hikinghokie 10/21/24 03:57 PM ET
If I were to guess today
TheStateGuy 10/22/24 11:27 AM ET
I've got us as a pretty decent favorite at 174
Hikinghokie 10/22/24 05:22 PM ET
WrestleStat has Jacob Cox at 133, is that an option as well?**
hokietony 10/21/24 03:08 PM ET
I doubt it.

Orine was stronger than Sam last year. Hope the weight adjustment flips it**

Have to say, in my opinion, Latona has been at a strength
dallasvt 10/21/24 03:58 PM ET
Definitely more exciting if Sam can actually win it a time or two lol
