yes, there is an encampment protest on campus, however, that is peaceful and their protests are about Columbia's financial investments. Regardless, that protest needs to stop. They've had their say. Now CU is starting to suspend these students. the outside of campus protest has a couple hundred people who just continue to chant crap. nobody is paying attention to it other than the media and the police presence. Everyone else simply ignores it. not disagreeing that there are some small elements of anti Semitism associated with all of this, but you would think that CU is an absolute war zone the way it is being portrayed in the media.
