What gets me about Georgia and people saying go get the money is I don’t
get it. Yes, I guess she’ll make money from something. Maybe I missed the whole NIL change for non US citizens.
If she is looking for money and to fulfill her dreams, it seems to me she would look for that first round draft, use that as leverage to get top dollar in Europe and do what she talked about over the past several years which is play and travel Europe. I don’t get her one year at Kentucky as there are lots of things that could lessen her leverage for a good contract in Europe or the US and very little that would move her up higher in the draft.

I think it’s more about her loyalty to KB than $$$.
They obviously have a very close relationship. He talks about how they text each other and she comes over to his house all the time. While I appreciate the “family” atmosphere he built, part of me thinks it’s a little creepy.

press conference, I thought I was gonna throw up. Thought it was just creepy at the time but in hindsight it seems like a controlling message to get her to follow him to UK. Sociopathic possibly.

Yep. Family is/was Liz and GA. Maybe Cayla. Did he 100% reel Strack in yet?
Hard to tell. Feels like we have a shot to retain Wenzel and Ekh. Would be a good start. But if Strack is an independent thinker and does a little research, she might conclude that following Kenny is not necessarily a golden ticket. She may get more NIL this year, but I don’t see Kentucky competing for much more than middle of the pack in the SEC. Even if Amoore is there also. He’s not going to have enough supporting cast around Amoore/Strack and that league is a absolutely brutal from a physicality standpoint
Maybe Strack doesn’t feel the need to be quite as tight knit w Kenny as Liz and GA were.

the players. But his wife must be ok with it so I chalked it up to me being really old school.

Closer than professionals usually are but not so much as to be creepy I don't think.

got here or would’ve gotten here vs at Kentucky which kind of goes with the point CC made in his article. The veil of secrecy around NIL contracts makes it basically impossible to judge transfers.
