Yes. Every good coach is cocky.
While she graduated as a hoo, I doubt she feels much of a connection anymore. I don't need reasons to dislike people.

I remember the last year VT was in the Big East and they played the Big East women’s basketball tournament in Hartford, Connecticut (2004). UConn was the favored team (Turasi and I believe Bird played on that team) and lost in the early round to BC. Geno made the team sit behind one of the baskets during the next game and watch it in its entirety as a “penalty” for losing that game. BC wound up winning the Big East tournament that year as the 5 seed.

I do not think every good coach in sports is cocky. I think most are very confident, but hardly cocky.

And let's face facts here. This was the 2nd time this year that UConn clocked SC. The first time happened on their own home floor. This was hardly a fluke.
The bigger question is why was a team that ended up winning it all and going 37-3 a #2 seed?
Tired of the SEC bias.
