Everyone is talking about Mulkey and her experience
I know that our ladies have achieved a huge milestone but it was not given to them. How about their experience? How about Kenny Brooks' experience? He took JMU dancing multiple times before taking over here. How does that get lost? I keep up with women's sports because my daughter play(ed) college volleyball. If Mulkey's experience is like her past experiences she is going to send a GOON squad after Amoore and Kitley and use intimidation and multiple throw away players to foul. That is not experience, that is tactics. I think we will be fine if she does that, Kitley and Amoore are both exceptional from the free throw line. I worry about physicality. Discuss....

Even when our teams prove to the world that we 'belong', as fans we still seek out examples of perceived disrespect in the media.
All Final Four teams in both men's and women's basketball receive MASSIVE amounts of exposure in the media and 'culture'. Each team has fascinating story lines and players. Here in the Commonwealth, VT's tourney run is definitively the hottest topic in all of sports, which is amazing for any women's sport. We should relish this moment and not get green with envy any time an article about LSU, USC, or Iowa is written.

I live in NC and the only mention here is Iowa, USC-e, and LSU. Kitley should be the media darling, she went to North West Guilford but never even a mention.
