Coach Brooks is facing the biggest moment of his career, and is surely under immense stress game planning for LSU. Yet despite all that, he managed to be aware of a beat writer's professional ups and downs and express his congratulations. It's probably the same trait that makes Coach Brooks so respected by his players.

Bitter is a talented writer. The best VT beat writer I've read. He's fair, unbiased, and finds interesting angles to his articles. His book certainly showed his dedication to his beat.
