ND won't lower themselves to join the ACC for football, but they need/want the ACC in all other sports. Leaves me feeling salty. I'm not going to all of a sudden start rooting for them when former Hokies transfer there. Nothing against the kids, themselves.

At least that isn't the end of her college career cause that would really suck to go out that way. She is coming back for them next year with the COVID year. The only reason she had the ball was because MIles was struggling too. It isn't one play that wins or loses a game. But God that has to suck! You have to go into the off season with that on the back of your mind.

Didn’t she participate in their senior day? Why the angst on her? She seemed to give VT her all. Falling way short the build up created by Marina. Funny thing bout her. Her last game against ND . We won. Due to her crucial free throws. She also 3-0 against VT. I’m more than happy we got Amoore. Let’s allow Dara to Move on . It has to be hard be Marina’s mini me.

loss which is not acceptable in any way. Kid played her heart out all year and they wouldn't have been where they got without her. People need to find better things to do with their life than threaten a kid who is doing what she loves. I am guessing most of these people are so called ND fans. On our end, other kids transfer from the program and I have never seen the amount of hate this kid gets verses all the others. Like you said she constantly lives under that shadow and she didn't get their height. So she is constantly being told she isn't good enough. Leave the kid alone.

until a better offer came along. She has a right to do that if she so chooses, and VT fans have a right to criticize her for her choice. She used VT, so don't expect fans to remain quiet when she screws up in a big game after shooting her mouth off on the way out of the door. Had she gone anywhere but ND (or maybe C-ville) I think many fans would have given her a pass and never again mentioned her name, no one would have cared enough.

I think she planned on staying all four years and then her sister became an assistant and Ivey became head coach and she wanted to go play under them. She also was really homesick. Plus Brooks said it was a mutual decision. There was an article that talked about how Ivey recruited her because she needed a leader for her new era and that is what she saw in Dara. We have Amoore and they have Mabrey and both are talented leaders in their own way.

ND is known for getting to the National Championship. Since when have we? Not that we don't want to, obviously everyone does and that is everyone's ultimate goal. But ND has that history of being that successful and having players come back to help and encourage the new generation. We just now are starting that. All she is stating is that is the expectation at ND. Let's face it, ours right now is to get back to the Sweet 16. The kid was just speaking the truth. If you look at other articles and videos where she talks about it, she respects playing at VT and the opportunity she had and what she learned. People just want to find a reason to hate because she left. That is how I see it. Well the kid is getting hate from the ND fan base now to the point of them telling her to go kill herself because of the last play in the NC State game. So I hope everyone is happy.

on her way out of town was not necessary. all she needed to say was thanks for the memories. taking a shot at our program served no purpose. better to just keep your mouth shut and move on with your life. if we disagree about this, then so be it. plenty of other girls have transferred out of the program without feeling the need to get in any verbal digs.

year. so excuse me if i'm not all broken up about them losing. as far as "leave her alone", i seriously doubt either of them give a rat's ass what i think. the mabrey sisters seem to suffer from verbal diarrhea.
