maybe she just hits better vs better pitchers who throw higher velo. She’s got such quick bat…but she’s not recognizing spin or off speed quickly enough

appears it is not happening and the 5 spot is too valuable to have her there at the moment. There is a lot of pressure batting in the 5 spot. My suggestion would be moving her to the 8 spot (less pressure) so that when she eventually does come out of her slump she will be a force at the back end of the batting order.

I like to put 9th; just until she breaks out; pitchers tend to not want to “nibble” & put 9 hole on so theoretically she may get more pitches in the zone to hit there
Currently Castine & even Mizelle are bigger power threats the way it’s been going

Been going on a few weeks. She’s sprinkled in a bloop hit or two and one hard double tonal vs UNC. Otherwise a lot of weak pop ups and grounders
