There is an article in this morning's Roanoke Rag about a uva football
player getting a 7th year. Could the NCAA or Judge Turk remind me again why Bre Warren is not allowed to play? Could there possibly be 2 (or more) sets of rules? How does the NCAA go into court with a straight face? And how does a judge accept anything they say?

Not sure about the UVA player, didn't see it in the paper ...
Previously the UVA QB was trying to get one more year but was denied by NCAA and courts. Bre Warren got bad advice last year about transferring so she sat out and the NCAA and judge stated that her 5-year window was gone and I guess the judge thought that getting bad advice from South Carolina was not reason enough to give her eligibility back for this year.

The NCAA will push a softball player around to make themselves look tough
and legitimate. When it comes to a big sport at a big school, they cave, they fold, they wuss-out.
