@VTChip l got to thinking about how many true freshman players
were full time starters or worked their way into that status in their first year for VT since Pete took over as coach.
The ones I can think of not including pitchers are:
Kelsey Bennett (recruited by Thomas)
Jayme Bailey (recruited by Thomas)
Bre Peck
Annika Rohs
Michelle Chatfield
Jordan Lynch
Gaby Mizelle
Kylie Aldridge
Cam ***an

compare them to our other highly rated recruit from last year (Jordan Lynch) I think we came out on the good side of the deal. Not only did Jayden bad mouth VT (and specifically took a shot at the coaching staff) on her way out the door, but she's hitting a whopping 0.203 this year.

be on the list under your last criteria of working her way into that status during the course of her first year. While I do not think she started every game, she was north of 35 total and an impact player in postseason.
