Duke wins. Can't decide whether that is good for VT or not.

Winning in ACC play. This win boosts our RPI because we beat them, boosts our best KPI win most likely too, hurts slightly the RPI of those SEC schools near us that’ve played UT

Lots of moving parts. After Duke, I'm seeing two more host sites to be decided between us, FSU and, after this last weekend, Stanford. The only way to absolutely assure hosting is for VT to win out in the regular season. Do that and the tournament doesn't matter much. Anything less we put both tournament and the committee in play. That combination put us Alabama last year :(

the effort to think about it at this point. There will be lots of ups and downs before selection day.

I think now if we go 9-1 with loss only to UNC OR maybe GT if they finish top 50 that’ll do it regardless of ACCT

us. Unlikely we'd jump Tennessee because of this loss.

They lose a couple
And maybe we beat them and win ACCT.
Their SoS & RPI plus them winning series vs us will put them in the 8-10 range. They’re playing to get to top 8. We’re closer to FSU than Duke in resume
