We don't want to get ahead of ourselves but
After reviewing the rest of our schedule, will we be favored in all those games?

Yes we will be. But it’s more about being favored to win the series vs UNC
we MAY be favored to sweep vs GT but sweeping is never easy Will be favored (and need to) sweep Cuse

Massey has us at 83%/game vs GT which means we are favored to sweep
that series by 57% (0.83^3 = 0.57). Meanwhile we have a 47% of sweeping UNC (77%/game) and 88% chance of sweeping Cuse (96%/game).

As I know you know....
that's why they play the games. Hopefully, the Hokies take care of business and do not get caught napping and thinking Massey will play the games for them. Syracuse on the road and the horror show that upstate New York has been for a variety of VT teams will hopefully keep them dialed in on the road. Homefield among other things should be an aid against GT and UNC.

Lindsey Grein fell apart/revolted at our series up there a few years ago.
That pretty much sealed her fate at VT.

It did not. You say below that it was a culmination of issues
It was a number of things. This post should have not stopped at one game sealing her fate. :) ** Edited by VAHokie89 at 4/13/2026, 4:21:31 PM

I doubt she left because of one bad game.

Yeah, it was the culmination of a few other issues along the way.

Maybe she did but if I remember our offense went missing vs their off-speed
Pitcher who then beat FSU the following week
