perfectly for them. Nice hops, etc. Just not our day. The third baseman made a nice play to get the runner at second, but other than that there were no spectacular plays. No diving catches etc.

That is the opposite of timely hitting. We lost the 1st inning of both games but won the other 11/12 innings of those games. Walks hurt us in the 1st innings but we didn't make up for those walks with bunches of base hits in the rest of both games. Came close in game 1.
