Isn’t UNC 14-0? They got in just because they’re unbeaten

They have outscored their opponents 151 - 16. That is probably figuring in
too.

Yep. just looked at records, not who they beat
Just one more example of why I really like D1 Softball as my "go to" site.

Are the Wahoos a good team? Have they faced a tough schedule so far?

Well yeah…they were very good last year too
They were an NCAA team

They did very well in the Clearwater Invitational last season, much better
recruiting and overall their pitching has veterans now that have been at UVA for a while now and the team is battle hardened. VT is still a better team overall, but they are gaining on us. Harding is a good coach and Pete and her are good friends and very respectful of each others program.

They are very solid.
Started the season giving up 10 runs in the first inning versus Arkansas (never changed pitchers?) and lost 17-1, but since then, they have won 12 in a row. This weekend they swept two games from both Maryland and Ohio State in Charlottesville so they are certainly a quality team.

Came back later and then beat #9 Arkansas after that first game
While OSU and Maryland are not softball juggernauts they are solid wins. The rest of the schedule has been a little softer. I agree though with VTChip - definitely a solid team this year. Their best players are now seniors/juniors.
