Peck is in an unfathomable slump since breaking the records.
I know she had a homer in the 21-0 Pitt game (everyone did) but, man, she is just not seeing the ball very well lately.

Having had periodic back issues in my life, I can't even imagine trying to swing a bat.

but we've also got a pretty good bench of players that are ready to go/looking for opportunities. I don't know what the right answer is but I've always generally believed in making a change, even if temporary, when a player is struggling(all the while making sure they know you believe in them, but a reset and rest might not be a bad option to break the slump and/or allow for a little healing/PT). Seems the Cal series would/could have been a good opportunity for that.

That is a good point, Chip. As fans we often forget things like this.
Certainly, Bre has proven herself to be an excellent hitter (and fielder) in her time here. So, yeah, playing through a pretty nasty injury could explain quite a bit.

are dying for opportunities to get in the game, but lets leave an injured player in, or players in a slump, or players that cant hit the ball period in the game, that makes sense. NOT

on proven players adjusting or learning from their mistakes is quite comical and ironic given that you are here game after game offering the same BS and never learning or adjusting to anything.
