If I interpret the game stats correctly
Of the 11 balls Arizona put in to play 7 of them went for hits. Damn that’s a crazy stat if I figured it correctly.

but that will only get you so far if you miss belt high with your rise and don't get enough movement on your drops or placement of fastballs.

you. That's what I saw close up tonight. If Emma doesn't develop more break she's going to be pitcher that absolutely dominates average teams but gets smoked (as she tonight) against good hitters.

Her job as a pitcher is to disrupt the timing and rhythm of the hitter. That takes change of speed, movement, and change of planes/levels. She looks like a one-trick pony right now.
