Effect of early inning homers on us.

Duke 1st inning 4 run homer Clemson 2nd inning 3 run homer UVA 4th inning 3 run homers Ga Tech 2nd inning 2 run homer Ga Tech 1st inning 3 run homer We not only lost those 5 games we never lead any of them after those homers. We did tie Duke in the last inning. Those 5 pitches accounted for 15 runs. We also gave up solo homers in the 3rd inning of both Ga Tech games. Safe to say early inning homers have hurt us. Errors and untimely hitting leaving runners on base have have played a part but these homers have been critical.
