What a frustrating Monday! My knee replacement surgery was scheduled for next Monday, but I get a call yesterday from the doctors office telling me that the anesthesiologist is uncomfortable doing the surgery at their outpatient surgery center as planned because of a cardiological issue I had18 years ago. This is in spite of my cardiologist signing off that I was low risk and I would be fine. They are insisting on doing the surgery at the hospital and the first opening there is not until July. 😡 Of course, I’ve already canceled our scheduled California trip this week in anticipation of the surgery. So very, very frustrated at the moment. The only hint of a silver lining is that we probably will be able to go to Boston for the ACC Tournament in two weeks. Thanks for all the positive thoughts. Save them for three months!
