Oh I’m betting to start off with, it will be a very low paying position
As it’s been stated above, who can afford it right now? Are teams going to skimp on travel or equipment all in the name to pay a 4th assistant? The arms race for the 4th assistant will begin when a 4th coach “hitting, defense, etc” makes a difference in a Supers or World Series run for a team. Coach X or Y is the one who got us here.
