The umpire announced that the call was confirmed, not "stands".

I am still convinced that Rachel was out. The Akron player was needlessly positioned to be able to apply the tag, but the first replay they showed on ESPN+ showed her foot touching the side of the base when the ball arrived. The first screenshot below in this thread was from before it mattered and the second one near where it did matter doesn't show any separation.
