Whether you pitch first inning or 5th, they are facing the same hitters. Bree put in "Better situations"?? IDK I mean it's 0-0 for the first inning if Mazz starts and if Bree has to come in later in the game and there are already 2 people on base, there's plenty of pressure so I'm not sure that holds water. The stats I looked at were based on per inning, not total where Bree's numbers could certainly be better. Take a look at them and I think you'll see what I mean. I'm just glad we have 2 excellent pitchers, maybe more but the numbers are what they are. One final note, you refer to Mazz experience starting and being around 3 years, handling pressure situations. So if anything, shouldn't she be better able to handle game situations and have better numbers?? Go Hokies!!
