Her stats for ERA, Runs, Base on Balls, HR given up, and esp Wild Pitches are all better than Emma's. We've been getting in trouble during the 1st game of series putting people on base and then giving up the untimely big hit. Emma has been better in keeping them off base. Considering that most teams we play roll out their best pitcher in the first game of a series, we should counter likewise with Bree. Emma is better than 90% of everyone else's 2nd pitcher. I'd feel very comfortable putting her out there for game 2. We would have a better chance of a sweep instead of series wins like last week or possibly this week, although Emma pitched well yesterday for the most part.
