is not a big revelation. It almost always is with any hitter. Sometimes you are hitting a beach ball, sometimes in looks like a pea. All it will take is a few really good at bats and she will be fine. I honestly believe if the ball she hit in her next to last at bat on Sunday would have gotten through, that she would be on her way out of it. A lack of confidence creates such indecisiveness on what pitches to swing at or not. You get behind in the count and it gets worse. if she were fast I would have her bunt a few times but in this case probably not a good idea. The 8 or 9 days off could be a really good chance to get in a load of bp to get her going again. I would really hate to see coach take her out of the field. In the time I have watch VT Softball, she is the best fielder. Everything she does is muscle memorisation. I would believe that she has been very well coached for a really long time. She will come out of it, I just hope it is soon. Cori Mac is killing it right now and we need the 8 and 9 hole putting runners on base for CM and MC.
